Alleged driver who hit and killed NOPD officer out on bond

Justin McKeyAccording to the bond clerk at Orleans Parish Criminal Court, Justin McKey, who allegedly drove the car that hit and killed New Orleans Police Officer Rodney Thomas, has posted bond.

The clerk told WGNO News that McKey left prison with an electronic monitoring device.

The other two men implicated in the hit-and-run – Kenneth Halley (charged with Obstruction of Justice and Accessory After the Fact to Manslaughter) and Bill Cager, (the owner of the body shop where the car was found, charged with Obstruction of Justice and Accessory After the Fact to Manslaughter) are still in Orleans Parish Prison on $100,000 bond each.
