Tropical Storm Chantal expected to stay east of Florida

Folks in south Florida are watching Tropical Storm Chantal. It’s dumping rain in the Caribbean, but forecasters say it will probably be just a tropical depression when it gets closer to the U.S. coast.

South Florida is in the cone of possibility, but if the storm stays on its current track it will stay east of Florida.
