Peake BMW’s Daniel Lahare was amazing for the Brother Martin-based American Legion team over the weekend. Lahare was 4 for 10 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs. He’s been improving his batting every game.
“I’ve been really just trying to stay on the ball, keep my front side in, really not pull off and make a lot of contact,” Lahare told WGNO Sports.
“He got several RBIs, stole two or three bases in the weekend,” Brother Martin baseball coach Mark Wisniewski said. “He’s big part of what we do we need him to do that to be successful.”
Lahare has been a key part not only for Peake BMW during American Legion ball, but during Brother Martin’s season.
Coach Wizwoski loves his energy: “He stays focused. He gives 100%. His motor is going 120 all the time. We’re trying to slow him down and stay focused, but he does a good job. He really does. He’s been at the middle of our lineup, early part of our lineup. He’s an integral part of what we do.”
