Former Plaquemines Parish Sheriff Jiff Hingle Sentenced To Nearly 4 Years In Conspiracy Case

Former Plaquemines Parish Sheriff Jiff Hingle was sentenced to 46 months in prison on Wednesday by a federal judge.  Hingle had already pleaded guilty in a federal conspiracy case in which he accepted two $10,000 payments from a company in exchange for business and the sheriff’s office.

Hingle will also have to pay a $10,000 fine and serve two years supervised release.
