NOPD: Baronne Street shootings involved New Orleans visitors

(from the NOPD) – On June 25, 2013 at about 900am, a 37-year-old male was involved in an argument with a 29-year-old male inside of an room at which time the 29-year-old produced a gun and shot the 37-year-old multiple times.  Also during the shooting, the 37-year-old shot the 29-year-old in the foot.  The 29-year-old and a female fled the hotel and were apprehended.

Police found Narcotics and a handgun on the scene.  The people involved are believed to be from New York and Florida.

The 37-year-old was transported to the hospital and is listed in critical condition and the 29-year-old is listed in good condition.

The investigation is on going.
