New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and the New Orleans Business Alliance (NOLABA) unveiled ProsperityNOLA, the city’s first strategic economic development plan, at a luncheon recently attended by nearly 600 business and community leaders. The plan is the culmination of nearly one year of planning meetings conducted by a Strategic Advisory Council, made up of 75 business, civic and community leaders from across New Orleans. Implementation of ProsperityNOLA is set to begin immediately and conclude in 2018, coinciding with the Tricentennial of New Orleans.
