Archbishop Rummel High School’s Charles Noble was the anchor on a team that recently won its second consecutive state bowling championships.

Noble averaged a sizzling 223. As a junior, he was third in the state in individual play. He was second as a senior.

Noble said team success comes first: “I enjoy the team aspect of it all. We always are behind each other’s backs, no matter what happens. Even if I throw a bad shot, I will have someone on the next shot behind me to support me.”

Noble was a 4 year starting for head coach Matt Caire.

Noble will bowl in the prestigious Junior Bowl USBC championships in Detroit in July. This fall he will attend Spring Hill College where he will be a member of the bowling team.

Noble said his goal is to bowl professionally.

“Charles is a hard worker,” Caire says. “He certainly has the talent. He’s got the dedication. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him on ESPN on Sundays.”
