Kai the hitchhiker wanted for murder

Remember this guy? Back in February you saw Kai, the hatchet-wielding hitchhiker, all over your Facebook feed. Now, the internet celebrity is wanted for murder.

He made headlines during a TV interview (video below) by saying he saved a woman from a man he says was trying to kill her. He said he hit the man with a hatchet.

Police in New Jersey issued an arrest warrant today for Kai, whose real name is Caleb Lawrence McGillvary. They say he bludgeoned a man to death after meeting him in New York City earlier this week.
