New Orleans church encourages everyone to Pray for America during National Day of Prayer

CaptureToday is National Day of Prayer. The first Thursday in May people gather across America to pray in groups in more than 35,000 places.

This year’s theme is “Pray for America.”

Here in New Orleans, WGNO’s Wild Bill Wood found a special place to pray … any day: at IHOP!

The International House of Prayer in Gretna is open Saturday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 for what they call “prayer watch.”

You can watch what goes on Saturdays on their live webcam, plus set up your own time to pray. Just go to the IHOP-NOLA website here: http://ihop-nola.com/events.htm
