Wednesday’s “Wheel of Justice” Includes Search For A Killer And Two Accused Thieves

Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice report began with the search for a killer who police say shot a man Uptown.

The attack happened around 6:15 Wednesday night.  Police found a 35-year-old man dead on the sidewalk at the intersection of Amelia and Magnolia Streets.

Also on Wednesday’s “Wheel” report, New Orleans police announced they were looking for a man named Joseph Lewis.  They say he is one of three people responsible for an armed robbery on March 3 at the corner of Adventure and Explorers streets in New Orleans East.

According to police, Lewis and his accomplices pulled a man from his car at gunpoint, shocked him with a stun gun then robbed him.

Finally on Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice, we showed you surveillance video from the French Quarter that showed a white Chevy Malibu with either a missing hub cap or temporary tire.  Police believe the driver of the car stole the purse of a woman in the 900 block of St Louis Street.

It happened at about 8:00 on Friday, April 26.
