Bozo’s Closes, Future Uncertain

The current owner of a seafood institution in Metairie hopes to reopen in the future.

Wednesday, a sign at the restaurant said it was closed for repairs.

The restaurant’s owner confirmed to WGNO News that he is in a fight with the owner of the building who is also the original owner of the restaurant.

The debate centers around claims of unpaid rent and substandard building repairs.

If a resolution isn’t reached, it could bring an end to an 85 year institution.

    Since the change of ownership
Bozo’s has been on a consistent
downward spiral. Changes in food quality, coupled with higher prices and incompetent owners have led to an inevitable demise. Hopefully, new leadership will reinstate some of the dishes we’ll miss so much
