Suspect Accused in Quintuple Shooting that Killed 5-Year-Old Arrested
New Orleans police arrested a suspect accused of killing a 5-year-old at a birthday party last year.
Officers say 19-year-old Tyron Harden is one of three shooters who opened fire on Simon Bolivar Avenue last May.
Briana Allen, 5, and Shawanna Pierce, 33, died.
A 10-year-old and two men were injured.
The N.O.P.D. arrested Harden Monday in New Orleans East.
The department says Harden is a member of the “Young Mafia Fellaz” and an associate of the “110’ers” street gang.
Officers have made two other arrests in the case.
Leo Riles turned himself in days after the shooting.
