A state audit shows the Crescent City Connection bridge offices failed to send out tickets for more than a million violation.

The report blames the electronic system that monitors vehicles crossing the bridge.

It shows drivers who had insufficient funds in their toll tag accounts were able to cross without penalty.

The “do over” special election to decide the fate of the tolls will be May 4th.
