Wednesday, New Orleans police released several photographs of someone they consider to be a person of interest in a murder earlier this month in the 21-hundred block of Washington Avenue.

Someone opened fire on and killed 21-year-old Kendall Williams on the sidewalk.  Another man was shot and treated for his injuries.

Police believe the mans seen running in the photographs may know something about the murder.

Also on Wednesday’s “Wheel”, Gretna police are looking for two men who they say got away with more than $100,000 following a vehicle burglary.

They say the men followed the victim, who supplied money for ATMs, and waited for the right moment to strike.

Police say both men are white.  One is between 50 and 60-years-old with gray hair.  The other is believed to be 30-years-old with dark hair.

Police say the men got away in a 2001 to 2003 Dodge Caravan.  Crimestoppers increased the reward in the case to $5,000.

If you have information that can help police with either case, call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
