C0untry Day will play Thursday, Riverside and the John Curtis girls Saturday in the state basketball championships in Monroe.
The 4th seeded Cajuns, 43-41 overtime winners over Christian Life Saturday, play 7th seeded Arcadia for the boys 1A state championship Thursday at 2 pm at ULM’s Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
Saturday, the third seeded Riverside Runnin’ Rebels play fourth seeded St Thomas Aquinas of Hammond for the boys 2a championship. The game tipsoff at 2 pm. Riverside ousted second seed University 64-62 in overtime Saturday in Hammond.
The Curtis girls, aiming for back to back state 2a titles, play St Thomas Aquinas at noon Saturday.
