LAPLACE, LA (WGNO) – From the outside, it’s truly impressive but wait ’til you get inside!
Walk through the front door of Scott Hall’s home in Laplace and the first thing you will see is a library straight out of a Sherlock Holmes movie.
That’s just the beginning. There’s more than 9,000 square feet, 6 bedrooms, 5 and a half baths, and it sprawls.
The great room features a huge mantle and fireplace, and the view from the windows is the fantastic pool deck.
But wait! It gets even better when you step into the stadium-style movie theater with room for 15 guests in 15 very plush seats which all recline for the utmost comfort. By the way, each seat is equipped with its own sub-woofer underneath, so you can feel the soundtrack. All the magic of a real theater in your own home, but you don’t have to pay $10, and your feet won’t stick to the floor.
After the movie, check out the diner next door: a 50s style soda fountain, complete with a wall-mounted jukebox.
“It was originally supposed to be a concession area for the theater,” Scott explains to WGNO’s Jon Huffman. “We started with the concession stand over there, but then we brought in the checkered floor and it kind of brought in the 50s diner style.”
Even the garage is impressive. It can fit 7 cars including this vintage Lamborghini once owned by chicken king Al Copeland.
The whole place is fit for a king, and it can be yours for $2 million … but bring your own Lamborghini.
