Tuesday evening, Louisiana State Police reported two of the department’s dogs were missing from the Bent Tree area in Marrero.

Both dogs are Belgian Malinois.  One is named Bruno; the other, Luke.

About an hour after the dogs were reported missing, troopers announce both had been located.

Luke was found in a nearby SPCA shelter.  Troopers say he was safe and unharmed.  Bruno was found at the PAWS shelter in Belle Chasse, also in good condition.

Troopers did not offer any information on how the dogs went missing.
