A little before 2:00 Friday afternoon, New Orleans police arrived at a shooting scene at the corner of Marigny and North Claiborne Avenue.

They found a man shot to death beside a white SUV.

As of Friday night, no name had been released.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
