Police Looking for Pistol Whipping Robber

Police in Kenner are searching for a man who pistol whipped a store owner during a robbery.

The robber was wearing a Chicago White Sox cap when he entered V.J.’s Check Cashing on Veterans Boulevard Thursday morning, officers said.

Surveillance pictures show the man enter the business with a gun.

Police said he beat the store owner who refused to hand over cash.

The robber took some items from the store and ran away, according to the police department.

The victim has bruises on his face and a serious knee injury.
