New Orleans routed Portland 99-63 Wednesday night at New Orleans Arena. It was the largest margin of victory for the Hornets this season.

Portland was playing the second night of a back to back. The Trailblazers led late into the fourth quarter Tuesday night before falling at Miami.

Gordon was a surprise late scratch with what the club calls a sprained right hand suffered during shootaround.

Anthony Davis, held to one point Monday night at Detroit, scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. It was Davis’ first 20 point game since January 19th against Golden State.

Portland had won 5 straight against the Hornets.
