NOPD: Robber Arrested After Returning To The Scene Of The Crime

New Orleans police say they’ve arrested a man responsible for a Fat Tuesday robbery.

They say Marvin Davis wore a mask when he robbed a store on Bullard Avenue in New Orleans East, but it fell off as he stole two bottles of champagne and some cash.

Police say they were contacted by a store clerk the following morning when Davis returned to the store — as a customer.

After the arrest, the clerk told police that Davis was a regular at the store.
