From the New Orleans Police:

New Orleans Police today arrested one of the three men they believe are responsible for Saturday night’s quadruple shooting in the 400 block of Bourbon Street.

23-year-old Deron Bridgewater of Marrero turned himself into Eighth District Detectives Michael Flores and Ryan St. Martin after he saw himself on television last night. Bridgewater is fully cooperating with detectives as this investigation is still ongoing.

Bridgewater and two other males are believed to have been involved in an argument with the victim prior to gunshots erupting.  Four people were taking to the hospital and three have already been released. The intended victim remains hospitalized in stable condition. The shooting was captured on amateur video in the area.

Bridgewater had no previous criminal history in Orleans Parish.

Detective Flores and St. Martin is now searching for a second person of interest who may also have critical information in the shooting. The person of interest goes by the name of “Landon” (see picture above).

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of “Landon” or who may have information about this shooting is urged to call crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.

Detective Michael Flores is in charge of the investigation.
