Police in Fairburn, Georgia say they arrested a suspect during a traffic stop and found hundreds of documents containing people’s personal information.

Police say the documents appear to be from the Beechgrove Apartments in Westwego.  The papers include people’s social security numbers, birth certificate copies, and other personal information.

The FPD says a representative of the apartment complex confirms its office was burglarized last year and documents may have been taken.

Police are urging anyone who lives in the Beechgrove Apartments — or who filled out an application to live there — to check their credit reports and contact police if they suspect fraudulent activity.
