Super Bowl Blackout is the talk of the town in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS – NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says the Blackout Bowl won’t hurt New Orleans’ chances of hosting another Super Bowl.

Entergy blames the Super Bowl power outage on an unspecified “abnormality” in the Superdome’s power system.

The Superdome’s manager says there is no evidence the halftime show had anything to do with the outage.

He also says when the outage hit, meters indicated the stadium was actually drawing less power than during a typical New Orleans Saints game.

Once the power went out at Super Bowl Facebook and Twitter immediately blew up with people all over the nation poking fun.
