Something new for Super Bowl tourists this year: you can get a birds-eye view of New Orleans with the new city sightseeing tours.
Hop on one of these bright red, double-decker buses and Bob Bell says, “You get a view that’s second to none.”
Tour guides like Bell are helping tourists and locals alike experience New Orleans in a whole new way.
“I’ve been doing this for 2 years,” Bell explains. “I do it because I love the history of the city. I think we live in the most interesting city in the United States.
And his love for and knowledge of for the city is pretty obvious. Bell is a self-proclaimed New Orleans history buff.
In all, riders get 2 hours, 12 stops. Once the tour is over, it’s a pretty safe bet that you’ll learn something new about New Orleans.
“You get a bird’s eye view of the Quarter, Treme, the Marigny, the Garden District, the Central Business District, we go by the Superdome.”
