L.B. Landry Drive-By Shooting Suspect Arrested

New Orleans Police arrested a suspect in a drive-by shooting after an L.B. Landry High School basketball game.

Officers say 17-year old Alvin Alvarez shot a 17-year-old male and injured a 17-year-old female.

The male teen was shot in the leg.

Police say the female was close to the gun when it went off and suffered burns to her face and eyes.

The shooting happened at an RTA bus stop outside of the school in Algiers Tuesday night.
