Baton Rouge Police say a teenager accidentally shot and killed his 2-year-old brother.

They charged 18-year-old Terrance Varise with Negligent Homicide.

His brother Travin died at the hospital Tuesday morning.

Officers say the two were in separate rooms when the gun fired.

A family member says you could see the pain in Terrance’s face when he ran out of the room holding his shot little brother.

Varise is also facing a charge for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
