The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in the triple homicide of Jacquelin Nieves and her two daughters.

Deputies say they’ll release more details on the investigation Wednesday at 9:00 am.

They found Nieves and her daughters, 7-year-old Gabriela and 20-month-old Izabela, in their burned apartment November 4.

Previously deputies said they had a suspect who was in custody for an unrelated crime.

There has been no word of any arrest before Tuesday.
