Mayor Mitch Landrieu and James Carville want you to be nice to our Super Bowl visitors no matter who they may be.

During the Super Bowl luncheon Wednesday they talked about how important it is for everyone to welcome our guest.

That could mean you’ll have to be nice to Atlanta Falcons fans and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Mayor Landrieu says Goodell and Paul Tagliabue worked hard with others and the Benson family to make sure the Saints stayed in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

“He was also a great advocate for the city to get this Super Bowl to come here and he will be very important to us should we ever want another Super Bowl,  So I want everybody t be on their best behavior”, Landrieu said.

The mayor also touted the hundreds of millions of dollars in improvements made in the greater New Orleans area in preparation for the game
