New Orleans improved to 6-2 since the return of Eric Gordon with a 111-99 win at Philadelphia Tuesday night.
Greivis Vasquez scored 23 points and dished out 9 assists. The Hornets made 10 three pointers.
The definitive quarter in the game was the third. New Orleans outscored Philadelphia 33-21. Ryan Anderson made the big shot of the period, a three pointer that gave the Hornets a 72-61 lead.
“I thought we played pretty well,” said Hornets coach Monty Williams to nba.com.
Anderson had 14 points, Xavier Henry 11. Both came off the Hornets bench. Anthony Davis scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
The Hornets play at Boston Wednesday night.
