Black and gold Christmas spirit is in overdrive as the Who Dat Truck Foundation  is bringing Christmas to ‘da house.

In a decked out Saints s SUV, owner Larry Daigel and his wife Karen are delivering help to who dat families in need, “And we want to cheer them up a little bit.”

Saints fans have seen Daigel’s  Who Dat Truck and Super Bowl Truck at every home football game.

For this year’s food and toy giveaway Santa’s sleigh of choice is the Super Bowl Truck, “The Super Bowl Truck is bigger to fit more packages for the children and more to eat.”

“Ho ho ho! Off we go!”

Dressed as Santa Larry and Karen set out Thursday evening after months of preparation, “We have sponsors. J and J is our number one sponsor. Exterminating.”

He says a local church helps pre-selects families in need. “We’re just taking the churches word for it. We go out a couple of days before and check out the addresses.”

On this eve Santa and the Super Bowl truck will visit 5 families.

Inside the Super Bowl truck are presents for kids, and lots of them.

Also included is all the fixin’s for a Christmas turkey dinner.

“We didn’t have anything for Christmas. It’s a bad year,” says the mother of one family.

“They were looking forward to this. I appreciate this,” says the father of another  family. “With the grace of God you all came through for us.”

It’s the fourth year in a row the Who Dat Truck Foundation spear headed this Christmas campaign to help.

…And the Super Bowl Truck will be back out again Friday evening and every Christmas to come!
