The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries launched a new iPhone app that will quickly supply information for outdoor enthusiasts.

“This is great news for anglers, hunters and anyone who enjoys the outdoors,” said LDWF Secretary Robert Barham.  “We’re giving our citizens a tool that can improve their outdoor experience, no matter what skill level they may hold.”

The DHH says the app info is taken from the agency’s website and posted in a version that’s adaptable to today’s lifestyle.  It includes hunting and fishing regulations, fish and snake identifiers, and size and bag limits.

The app is free and available from the App Store.
