City Park’s Celebration in the Oaks is in full swing. Among the Christmas lights and carnival rides don’t miss the Train Garden. Mac is one of the model train engineers; his job is to maintain the train, the tracts and to build a more authentic replica of New Orleans. The group of engineers spends a good hour and a half before the park opens prepping the garden. Train collection might be considered an old tradition but the kids sure get into it.
