KTBS in Shreveport fired a meteorologist after she responded to a viewer’s facebook post.
Rhonda Lee says she politely responded to a viewer who posted an offensive remark about her natural hair.
Even the view praised her response.
KTSB says the station fired Lee for violating its policy of not responding to viewer complaints.
Food for Thought: Should the Shreveport Meteorologist Have Been Fired for Responding to a Viewer?

Yes i believe they did the right thing. She knew the station had a policy of not responding to viewer complaints, and she did it anyway.

I agree with you. When a person accepts a position they accept the policy and the consequences that come from breaking that policy should they choose to do so.

Something I'd be interested to know: What is WGNO's policy with their employees? Have you ever had a problem with a reporter responding to a viewer's comments?
