Driver In Deadly Lakeview Crash To Face Charges

The NOPD booked the driver of a SUV involved in a deadly crash on Wednesday with negligent homicide.

The crash happened at Robert E Lee and Paris Avenue.  Police says 18-year-old Brittany Sanders ran from them when they tried to pull over her car for driving erratically.

The car hit a pole at the intersection and came to a violent stop.

Police say Sanders was driving with four passengers.  One of them died.
