Covington police are looking for a man who is accused of gashing another man’s neck with some sort of edged weapon.
Police say the attack happened at about 7:00 Sunday night. They say they responded to a call from a home on 29th Avenue. Inside, police say they spoke with a man and woman about the case. The man had a garment around his neck, and police say when they asked him to remove it, they saw a large gash on the side of the man’s neck.
Police say the woman, who is the girlfriend of the victim, told them she saw 24-year old Brandon A. Alexander grab her boyfriend by the neck during a scuffle. Police did not release information regarding the cause of the fight.
Alexander is described as being 5’8” and 150 lbs. His last known resident according to police is on Florida Street in Covington.
