Reliving the terror Sunday afternoon at Pontchartrain Park, a 16-year-old girl Monday night showed WGNO News where she said she witnessed her 15-year-old schoolmate get stabbed a day earlier, a crime recorded by another witness’ cellphone camera.
“He was like I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe, and he just passed out,” she said.
As of 8PM Monday night New Orleans police said the unnamed teen is alive but in critical condition from the 3:00PM Sunday attack.
The video shows a young man in the red shorts receive what appears to be a sharp object from a female before he attacks a grey-shirt wearing teen who later runs away in, grimacing in pain.
New Orleans Police say he was stabbed and also was the victim of a Taser deployment at some point during the skirmish.
Anyone with information for police is urged to call Crimestoppers at (504)822-1111.
